Glitch on Wuhu Island Loop

A French Mario Kart fan site picked up this glitch on Wuhu Island Loop.


As you can see, the third lap has a recorded time of 0 seconds. Apparently, if you go off the road and into the water at a certain point, you can make the final lap null, even though the timer keeps going as if nothing happened.

Nintendo's latest online tournament is a coin run through Coconut Mall. There's 50 coins, and you have to get them all. In this video, I give a rundown of what you have to do.

On its Google Plus page, Nintendo offered an online code so you can face opponents in a mirror match.

Challenge other players in an action-packed Mario Kart 7 mirror race! Just search for code 69-8576-4338-8613. Like this post if you’re up for the race. From the main menu, select Online Multiplayer, then select Communities, and search for code 69-8576-4338-8613.

The CPU dodges the blue shell in Mario Kart 7!

GoNintendo had this video of the CPU being a beast when it comes to dodging blue shells. You'll have to tilt your screen, though.

As the video will show you, you're going to need a mushroom to dodge a blue shell, as this CPU Toad so easily was able to do.

Mario Kart 7 gets some love from the LA Daily News' tech bloggers. They make note of the game's history and new features. They say the mix of good and evil makes it a great game:

And, of course, everybody cheats. Mario Kart has always combined cuteness with anarchy, as competition means attacking your opponents with turtle shells, fireballs, ink-shooting squids and more weapons. The arsenal still includes the notorious blue shell, an advanced Mario Kart weapon that targets and hits whoever is in first place. Is it fair? Of course not, but what is?
